Come join us! **J** **ob Summary:** Atlas is seeking a **Senior Construction Inspector** with prior experience with railroad infrastructure inspections for an exciting new megaproject in The Bronx. The Penn Station Access Project will provide direct Metro-North service from the Bronx, Westchester and Connecticut to Penn Station and Manhattan’s West Side, providing connectivity to areas currently with limited rail service. The project consists of four new ADA-accessible passenger rail stations, over 19 miles of new and rehabilitated track work, four bridge rehabilitations, the reconfiguration of Metro-North's New Rochelle Yard, four new and one reconfigured interlockings, five new and two upgraded substations, and the modernization of signal, power and communication infrastructure. **Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Perform inspection of contractor’s work to ensure construction activities are in accordance with plans, specifications, and contractual requirements. + Perform inspection of track construction activities. + Read and comprehend contract documents (i.e., plans, specifications, shop drawings). + Provide thorough daily inspection reports and maintain detailed records of work performed. + Perform additional duties as assigned **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Minimum 10 years construction inspection required. + Experience as construction inspector on railroad projects preferred. + Experience with track construction inspection or railroad systems inspection preferred. + Experience with Amtrak preferred. **Other Duties:** Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
