Overview As an HR Transformation Sr. Consultant, you will be responsible for helping to drive Gallagher’s HR Transformation efforts to enable more efficient, scalable, and high-quality HR service delivery. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of HR Transformation, the HR Transformation Sr. Consultant will provide consultative expertise to support various HR efficiency opportunity identification, prioritization and project / change management initiatives across global business units and geographies. The Sr. Consultant will advise on the continued evolution our HR Target Operating Model & Shared Services strategy, identifying opportunities to extend onshore / offshore capabilities and utilization, while driving process improvement and service excellence. This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US. How you'll make an impact Gains detailed understanding of current state HR service delivery model, processes, and metrics across key sub-functions, divisions, and geographies. Partners with functional SMEs and cross-divisional / functional stakeholders to identify structures, processes and frameworks that can be optimized, centralized, and/or automated for greater efficiency and transparency. Collaborates with onshore and offshore HR Shared Services leaders and team members to ensure HR services are being delivered at the highest level of service and value Responsible for analyzing data and stakeholder feedback to obtain insights and create solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR Target Operating & HR Shared Service Models. Defines and manages transition plans to prioritize and sequence HR sub-function opportunities in consideration of impact, complexity and interdependencies. Provides a clear implementation approach to executing transition plans through defined phases / milestones. Collaborates with project managers and leaders to develop integrated change management strategies and plans for key HR Projects and align timing and intent of change management tactics. Creates and communicates report-outs and updates to project teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Supports value proposition development for the HR Transformation function focused on articulating who we are, strategic service delivery capabilities, and impact of our work. Keeps abreast of industry trends, tools, practices, and advancements to support organizational efficiency and optimization. Supports the Gallagher HR Leadership Team in driving achievement of HR Operating Model goals / objectives and addressing resistance/obstacles. About You Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Must have a minimum of 7 years progressive Human Resources and/or Management Consulting experience including HR transformation, talent management, organization development, mergers and acquisitions, and/or change management. Subject Matter Expertise in Human Resources business processes and practices. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communicator, experience communicating technical and business concepts to a global employee population using varied communication vehicles. Solid project management skills and experience. Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel. Strong knowledge of MS Project, MS Visio or similar project management and process tools. Experience in a Human Capital Consulting / Professional Services environment is highly advantageous. Experience working on a global scale and/or in the Insurance or Financial Services industry desired. Adaptability and demonstrated ability to quickly shift gears from developing strategy & plans to dealing with operational matters. Highly motivated self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities, lead cross divisional teams and adapt to changing requirements and environment with limited oversight. Demonstrated strengths in design, development and delivery of high-impact talent solutions, and associated change management, to achieve business objectives. Has excellent presence and ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization as well as drive impact without direct authority. Strong written and verbal communication skills across different audiences.
