Are you ready to help us make the future? Position Purpose This position will manage a small team of accountants within Engineering Project Accounting Team. Primarily supporting accounting for Aerospace Engineering programs and sites. Additionally, this person will help drive standardization as we continue to transition the support of additional Aerospace sites. Position Responsibilities + Manage and mentor a team of analysts + Support the Finance, Program Management, and PP&C teams + Define tasks, required resources, project plans, define project scope and deliverables, allocate resources to implement manage and complete projects + Track deliverables, monitor and present to stakeholders on the progress of projects + Work cross-functionally inside and outside Controllership + Evaluate and assess RevCogs programs according to POC Accounting treatment + Implement and manage change when necessary to meet team goals + Conduct financial due diligence and apply accounting procedures while also gathering and analyzing data + Seek methods to enhance overall efficiency and performance + Think Globally, work closely with support teams, and other regions + Share knowledge and ensure consistency as we bring additional site support under the Phoenix RFC. + Review, analyze, streamline and standardize department processes, work instructions, business practices You Must Have + 4+ years of directly related accounting/financial analysis experience + Due to defense contract related work, must be a U.S. Citizen We Value + Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance + Demonstrated strong project management leadership + Demonstrated strong mentoring through leadership + Demonstrated strong understanding of SAP and management reporting + Self motivated, self-starter, and positive, results oriented individual + Overall knowledge of the Controllership and SOX processes + Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and organization skills + Ability to prepare and present complex data in a simple, understandable manner + Works well under pressure, with a sense of urgency, strong time management and prioritization skills + Demonstrated excellent teamwork qualities in a diverse and demanding environment + Ability to initiate and lead projects/teams, drive actions, and provide recommendations for decision making + Strong proficiency and experience with financial systems and reporting tools Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
