Sr. Corp Procurement Manager, SDI, Global Corporate Procurement Supplier Diversity and Inclusion

We are looking for a Sr. Corporate Procurement Manager, Supplier Development and Impact (SDI) to lead the management, execution, and expansion of Amazon's Global Corporate SDI. This highly visible role will work directly with company-level SDI, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Suppliers, Leaders, Customers and external partners to improve business opportunities with suppliers. Key job responsibilities • Partner with Procurement teams to ensure SDI through strategic sourcing activities. • Develop and execute strategies to expand Amazon’s SDI program to other core businesses and subsidiaries • Create efficient mechanisms • Educate our partners. • Track and report progress against corporate, category and customer goals. • Identify and establish business relationships with potential suppliers. • Collaborate with SDI leaders across Amazon to ensure governance and share best practices • Oversee development of SDI expansion monthly reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with visibility at the highest level of the corporation; identify and implement reporting efficiencies •Identify, foster, and maintain strategic external partnerships and resources to support the success of disadvantaged-owned businesses •Lead, independently, through ambiguity – serves as key point of escalation • Design and implement strategies to help employees grow and develop, and to align their skills organizational goals A day in the life This role being a strategic, programmatic, and deliver results role, you will work with company-level SDI, Legal, Finance, Suppliers, Sourcing Managers, partner teams, and Leaders to achieve our vision. Join our team and explore opportunities to shape Amazon's SDI strategy. https://www.amazonsdi.com/ Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree •10+ years in supply chain, SDI, sourcing, responsible sourcing and our procurement • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership. • Communication proficiency, especially writing • Leading teams with direct reports • Working with global cross functional and partner teams in supply chain • Analyzing data, problem solving, implementation of improvements and repeatable processes, driving automation or standardization, conducting business reviews to senior and C-suite level leadership. Preferred Qualifications • Masters Degree • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience development, instructional design or related field • 5+ Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership • 5+ Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
