Tri Pointe Homes is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as a Sr. Corporate Land Analyst. Position Highlights: Work alongside the corporate finance team to create and maintain complex cash flow modeling templates to evaluate new land acquisitions company-wide, provide support to the regional divisions with modeling complex capital structures (JVs & Land Banks), manage the company’s land bank portfolio, and create land related reports for senior management. Position Responsibilities: Support the company’s regional land teams to efficiently and accurately complete land acquisition packages to submit for approval by Management Land Committee. Update and maintain complex Excel based financial cash flow model, for use throughout the company in the analysis of new land acquisitions for development of single-family homes. Assist the regional land teams in modeling complex off-balance sheet structures, such as Joint Ventures and Land Banking. Review land packages and cash flow models prepared by the regional land teams to ensure accuracy and compliance to the company’s underwriting guidelines. Manage the Land Bank portfolio, including lot purchases, draw requests, insurance renewals, and other reports as needed. Prepare quarterly and annual reports for senior management. Other projects as requested. Position Qualifications: Degree in finance, accounting, or economics with 5+ years of experience in advanced financial and cash flow modeling. Experience in homebuilder joint ventures and with lenders/financial institutions a plus. Previous experience as a Land Acquisition Analyst a plus. Skills: Computer Skills: Advanced Excel (including Macros), Word, Teams, SharePoint, ShareFile, Adobe, Microsoft Suite. Demonstrated creative thinking ability and intellectual curiosity. Demonstrated initiative, with strong problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail, while possessing ability to see the big picture. Proven team player with the ability to guide and influence cross-functional team members or work independently. Knowledge of residential land due diligence, entitlements, and development is preferred. Excellent communication and relationship building skills – written, verbal and interpersonal. Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage rapidly changing projects in a team environment. Self-driven, highly organized, highly motivated, and able to get things done quickly and accurately. Physical Requirements: Sedentary for extended periods. Repetitive motion such as typing. Visual acuity required for detailed computer work. Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $110,200 - $129,100 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
