Axos Bank is looking for a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Senior Analyst to support the Commercial Real Estate Specialty Lending Group with originations, underwriting and portfolio management. The CRE Senior Analyst will support the team in screening, underwriting, and structuring new loan opportunities as well as assisting with consents, extensions, and amendments of existing loans.Responsibilities:
Evaluate new opportunities from borrowers, counter-parties, and brokers.Identifying risks in new transactions and providing potential solutions to mitigate themAnalyze the corporate structure of borrowersAnalyze due diligence materials, financials, third-party reports, and pro-forma assumptionsAnalyze commercial real estate collateral across an array of collateral types (multifamily, condos, industrial, self-storage, hotels, SFR, land, retail, etc.)Support underwriting recommendations by presenting logical detailed analysis and metricsMake process improvements and action recommendations researched and supported by dataManage and monitor existing portfolio of construction and bridge loansTrack loan covenants and follow up with counterparties for owed deliverables or informationCompose memorandums and presentations for commercial real estate financing opportunities by supporting recommendations with logical detailed analysis and metricsPerform commercial properties analysis, such as property level evaluations, market analysis, financial viability assessment of real estate development projects, etc.Provide financial solutions including loans, deal structuring, treasury, transactions, risk management and investment banking to real estate related clients, by working closely with relevant stakeholdersAssist bankers in the underwriting, due diligence and closing process of commercial real estate loans, in accordance with applicable regulations and policiesImplement process improvements that are carefully researched and supported by dataRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree2+ years of experience in commercial real estateStrong Microsoft Excel skillsPreferred:
