Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Credit Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze the creditworthiness of new and existing counterparties, recommend and approve credit limits, handle counterparty inquiries, and produce reports on credit activities and operations. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and stability of our operations.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze the creditworthiness of new and existing counterparties and recommend credit limits.Approve credit limits for new and existing counterparties up to the Delegation of Authority.Process issuance and amendments of collateral instruments.Monitor credit exposure versus established credit limits.Review and approve counterparty contracts - new and amendments.Handle counterparty inquiries related to internal and external credit exposure.Produce reports on credit activities and operations.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business.Minimum of seven (7) years working in a Finance/Accounting/Business environment.Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.Keen analytical skills for problem solving.Ability to mentor employees and provide feedback on operational improvements.Detailed understanding of financial documents and ratio analysis.Ability to present information and respond to questions from leaders and counterparties.Dedication to meet timelines and quickly adjust priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred: A minimum of ten (10) years oil and gas experience in a Finance/Accounting area.Familiarity with the NAESB, Special Provisions, ISDA, Credit Support Annex, and ICE.ISDA, Credit Support Annex, ICE, Oil and Gas Trading, Midstream, Stocks, NAESB, Credit Analysis, Risk.Work Environment
The role may require working overtime, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a high level of dedication and the ability to quickly adjust priorities to meet timelines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
