Sr. Credit & Collections Analyst

Job Purpose This position will have responsibility for supporting the company financial reporting process. Candidates will need to have a strong credit and collections background and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively present results and stay informed of progress with customers, accounting team and sales team. Principal Accountabilities + Administer and enforce credit and collections policies and procedures + Oversee the collection process, including developing strategies to increase effectiveness + Develop forecasts to predict cash flow and identify potential shortfalls + Establish metrics to evaluate risk and minimize bad debt + Ensure quality customer service and resolve disputes + Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies + Analyze collection metrics and report on collection activity + Recommend legal action for specific accounts and follow through + Develop strategies and goals to reduce exposure to write-offs + Interface with multiple departments, including sales and management staff + Select and manage the relationship with third-party collection agencies + Review, prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports + Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned Knowledge / Skills / Experience + Experience with ERP accounting software (SAP preferred) + Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance + Minimum 10 years of public or private accounting experience + Manufacturing accounting experience is preferred + Financial analysis expertise + Knowledge of credit laws + Excellent communication skills + Analytical skills + Time management skills + Attention to detail + Problem-solving skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software + Advanced user of Microsoft Excel + Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, shifting priorities Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections) + **The salary range for this position is $75,000- $100,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
