The Sr. Critical Facilities Technician provides technical and facility support in a 24x7 data center environment, including maintenance and oversight of electrical, HVAC, and building management systems. IMDC is looking for self-motivated team members who have a strong sense of urgency, and dedication to your team, our customers and IMDC’s vision. This is a full-time shift position, and may be required to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. **Responsibilities:** + Proactively support the safety of the environment & occupants and ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work. + Monitor IMDC’s critical power, cooling/environmental, security & support systems and facilities to meet or exceed up-time service levels. + Perform limited maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of the data center heating and cooling systems and overall facility. + Monitor, resolve and update all assigned service tickets using IMDC’s ticketing system. Including trouble tickets and customer installations of electrical and physical equipment. + Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment and inspect buildings, grounds, and all equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning operation. + Proactively identify issues and take the needed steps to resolve them. + Escort and periodically check vendors while performing maintenance to ensure that the rules and operating procedures are followed. + Assist in arranging access and creating work assignments and changes for internal works or for vendors. + Assist in creating required MOPs. + Procurement of goods and services through the procurement system. + Receive and respond to third party reports of mechanical or maintenance issues on the systems. **Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:** + 1-3 years experience in a critical operations environment and/or data center experience preferred, but not required + Multi tasking - we use several different systems to manage ticket queues and work tasks can change throughout the day + Attention to detail - ability to understand and follow a documented process and Iron Mountain’s safety code, role is very process driven + Organization & prioritization - following processes and managing your time with minimal supervision to get work done efficiently and on time + Dedication & desire to learn - we would like you to grow your career within Iron Mountain + Customer service mentality - we are customer obsessed + Opportunities for overtime work will be available. + Working hours are varied and nights, weekends and holidays may be required. + The ability to obtain security clearance via government or other agency background check may be required for customer support. **Disclaimer:** This job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of every duty and responsibility of the jobholder.
