You will be responsible for design and maintenance of Controls Applications and calibration for Dana driveline systems (including transmissions, torque converters, driveline controls) for our off-highway OEM vehicles. Help us lead the way to electrification of drivelines and help make the transition to Functional Safe applications. Ensure that Americas regional customers are well supported with respect to driveline controls and calibration requirements and associated troubleshooting.
Tasks will include but not limited to understanding internal and customer request/requirements for performance, driver comfortability, diagnostics, safety, and calibrate the specific system to meet these requirements. Design and conduct test cases for assessment of calibration in different environments such as Dyno, HIL, or in vehicle. Your workplace will be very dynamic and fast-paced and customer centric.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSystem engineering:
• Fulfil a review role on concept, stakeholder and system engineering requirements.
• Compose V&V criteria
• Work out technical concepts
• Identify gaps, improvements and opportunities through application experience, to improve our product and feature offering.
• Assist definition of functional safety features through your application knowledge.
Establish and implement powertrain control system:
Full ownership to prepare, implement, and document control systems for powertrains / drive systems. Emphasis is on new projects, that require new processes to be defined:
• Introduction of Functional Safe applications.
