Your Role at Delta Faucet
Delta Faucet Company's Trade Team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to turn substantial amounts of data into insights that guide our evidence-driven approach to outpacing market growth. Our team is solving large, ambitious problems such as understanding purchase drivers in a complex wholesale channel, identifying new opportunities to capture data, creating user-friendly and insight-generating dashboards, designing tests to measure impact of strategic decisions, improving return on investments in sales and marketing programs, influencing the product development roadmap, and empowering internal and external partners to quickly respond to shifting market dynamics. We are looking for a strong data analyst with a passion for finding opportunities to create value with data, developing action-driving dashboards, guiding business partners in proper use of data to make decisions, and conducting and presenting analyses to business executives.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with team members to learn business operations and identify the analytic needs of various rolesDesign and build intuitive dashboards and data models in PowerBI and Salesforce Analytics Studio to enable self-service analyticsConduct ad-hoc analyses and identify salient trends and patterns in the dataImplement statistical methodologies including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, variable reduction, and clusteringGuide business decisions related to market segment strategy, marketing spend, pricing, product roadmap, and sales programsSynthesize and present large amounts of information in a universally understandable way to enable partners to explore and identify patterns for business improvementConvert findings into impactful recommendations and present compelling story to business leadersSupport governance of data usage to ensure consistency, including development of data dictionary and guidance/rules on usage of specific metrics
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis in analytics or relevant work experience, advanced degree preferred. 4+ years demonstrable experience applying data to analytics and decision making, preferably within a wholesale or retail industry or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving mentalityKnowledge of statistical concepts and sophisticated analytic techniquesExperience with dashboard design and data visualization using tools such as PowerBISolid grasp of SQL for data querying, manipulation, and retrievalProven stakeholder-management skills including requirement gathering, establishing vision, managing expectations, collecting feedback, continuous improvement, and consistent communicationAttention to detail and data accuracy. Dedication to quality assuranceSuperb communication and presentation skillsExperience in Power Query M formula language, cloud-based data management a plusFamiliarity with programming languages such as R or Python, cloud databases such as Azure, and data science platforms such as Databricks are a plus
