**Who We Are**
As part of Key’s second line of defense Compliance and Operational Risk testing function, the Risk Evaluation and Assurance (“REA”) Program has the responsibility for evaluating Key’s ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations through the execution of compliance monitoring and testing across Key’s lines of business, products, and functional activities. The Testing and Analytics group serves in the critical role of assisting the REA team in the execution of testing and monitoring through the development of advanced data-driven testing methodologies, analysis, and monitoring.

You have attention to detail and are task-oriented; you can coordinate resources for a project from start to finish. You are an experienced analytics professional looking to serve in a senior individual contributor role and assist the Testing and Analytics Director by serving in a leadership capacity in managing projects.
**Essential Job Functions**
The Senior Data Analytics Manager will:
+ Plan, execute, and oversee data analytics projects from ideation to completion. Coordinate feasibility assessment, business use case specification, research and code development, testing and user acceptance, project documentation, and other necessary data project tasks.
+ Utilize knowledge of data analysis tools (i.e. SAS Enterprise Guide, Google Cloud BigQuery, SQL, Python, Excel/VBA, etc.) and techniques in analyzing, quantifying, and/or assessing risks and to assist the REA testing professionals in the execution of testing and monitoring.
+ Collaborate with REA and line of business data analytics colleagues, working to advance the maturity of the REA data analytics program and to support modernization initiatives through enhanced data analytics standards, methodologies, strategy, and framework.
+ Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements while managing competing resources and priorities. Develop strategic plans and success metrics in cooperation with the Compliance Director and Compliance Executive to measure and demonstrate project progress and outcomes.
+ Facilitate data advisory activities between the Testing and Analytics team and stakeholders across the broader Risk organization and lines of business.
+ Provide input to and oversight of data acquisition processes to ensure that requirements for scoped analytics are met within reasonable timeframes. Outline and assist with internal user acceptance and data validity testing for completeness and accuracy.
+ Assist in the development of process documentation that focuses on tangible, repeatable processes to support testing professionals in locating, accessing, understanding, analyzing, and validating data.
+ Stay abreast of best practices, and trends in the use of data analytics for risk management, compliance, internal audit, operational and other risk areas within large, complex banking institutions. Stay informed on regulatory expectations for the use of data analytics in financial services.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Systems (IT / MIS), Business Analytics, Project Management, Computer Science, or other related quantitative or IT field of study.
+ 6 to 10+ years of practical and functional experience in data analytics that includes data extraction, analysis, and/or reporting functions, typically achieved through work as a: business, data, operations, compliance, or risk analyst manager; internal audit manager; or role that includes significant aspects of the listed essential job functions.
+ Experience with data harvesting and analytic tools (i.e. SAS Enterprise Guide, Google Cloud Platform BigQuery, SQL, Python, R, ACL, Excel/VBA, etc.).
+ Proven experience managing complex Business Intelligence and/or automation of reporting.
+ General knowledge and understanding of financial services industry products and services.
+ Autonomous, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to change or shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ High ethical standards, strong critical/strategic thinking, detective, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication (verbal and written) with the ability to develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships in a team environment and with mid to senior level management and internal clients.
**Preferred Skills/Competencies**
+ Specialized knowledge or skill in project management principles and techniques.
+ Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry source systems (e.g. loan origination/servicing, deposits, etc.) and operations/process flows.
+ Practical working knowledge of financial services compliance and operations including the related rules and regulations of the financial services industry to include OCC, FRB, CFPB, State Law, and other pertinent regulations.
+ Advanced knowledge or expertise in database querying, data transformation, data visualization, and/or analytical software or programming languages (e.g. SAS, SQL, Google BigQuery, Python, Tableau, etc.).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $125,000 to $155,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
