As a Sr. Data Engineer, your role involves developing data models and data pipelines. You'll work closely with a diverse group of internal stakeholders and external customers, providing solutions that amplify their competitive stance.
What you will do:
Lead the design and development of data architecture, data models and data pipelines.Design and develop data pipelines. Define, develop, and review ELT/ELT processesPartner with Data Analysts to understand business processes and identify opportunities to build scalable and efficient data models that can be used for scalable, refreshable analysis and reportingEnsure alignment to coding standard methodologies and development of reusable codeCollaborate with data platform and infrastructure teams to architect and integrate high-quality, resilient data feeds from across the organization.
The skills you bring:
Over 10 years of professional expertise as a Data Engineer, specializing in building scalable data solutions.Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data architecture, and database design.Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Scala, Python) and strong command of SQL.Skilled in building modern data stacks, utilizing tools such as dbt, Informatica, Airflow, Snowflake, among others.Solid grasp of the data processing requirements for both real-time and batch systems, catering to transactional and analytical processing.Proven track record in developing ETL/ELT jobs and data pipelines, along with proficiency in job scheduling systems.Familiarity with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and real-time streaming systems like Kafka, Spark, Flink, etc.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences and effectively managing stakeholders at all levels.Why join Ericsson?
