We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Lead to oversee and manage the data migration processes for our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management, migration strategies, and data warehousing. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless transition of data from legacy systems to our state-of-the-art EDW, contributing to the organization’s data-driven decision-making capabilities.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \n\nLead the data migration project from planning to execution, ensuring timely and accurate data transfer.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and IT professionals, to define migration requirements and strategies.\nDevelop detailed data migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.\nIdentify and document data sources, data mapping, and transformation rules.\nOversee the data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data integrity and quality.\nMonitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.\nEstablish and enforce data quality standards and best practices.\nConduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and completeness post-migration.\nRegularly update stakeholders on migration progress, challenges, and milestones.\nProvide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the data migration framework.\nStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data management and warehousing.\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL\nIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
