Skills Requirements:

Required:
• Experience using DB2 10.5 with BLU on Linux required
• Experience with JDBC; WebSphere, WebLogic and/or Tomcat
• Database Design, implementation, tuning, and maintenance
• Extensive experience using DB2 LUW/UDB EE and DB2 LUW/UDB EEE on LINUX/UNIX platform
• Strong experience in handling large scale databases
• Excellent Interpersonal, Writing, and Oral Communication skills

Desired:
• Experience with Databases running under VMware, RedHat Linux and Virtual Storage Pools

19. Sr. Mainframe Developer - SME3

Metrics and reporting to the customer on the outcome of said testing. Maintain and developing new code (JCL,REXX,CLIST, CICS, IDMS, etc.) as required.
Senior level developer needed to work independently that is tasked with supporting the Enterprise Architecture team.
This position is in the IS&GS Civil organization supporting our customer, the Social Security Administration. The position is located in Baltimore, on the west side of town near 695, Route 26, and Security Blvd.
We are responsible for providing a full range of IT integration services and supporting a multi-platform computing environment, including: information systems modernization initiatives, software engineering, project management, infrastructure services, data warehousing, database administration, research, planning, security, federal enterprise architecture initiatives, research and all levels of Internet, Intranet and Web portal initiatives and migrating legacy architecture to web-based platforms.
Skills Requirements:
Required

- Candidate must have at least 11yrs exp.
- Experience with IDMS.
- Experience with CICS Mappers.
- Experience with Cobol, JCL and SQL Error handling and debugging production control, or Job scheduling z/os (IBM mainframe) with JCL, TSO, ISPF.
.Experience with an industry accepted SDLC
Experience with mainframe based software configuration management systems such as ENDEVOR.
Experience with supporting mainframe maintenance activities.
Experience with supporting MiddleWare maintenance activities.
Experience with Control-M or other mainframe based job scheduling tools.
Detail oriented and committed to consistently completing repetitive production-like tasks on-time and error-free.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Self-starter, highly motivated individual; team player who can adapt to changes in customer requirements

Desired skills

Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.
Experience with developing, maintaining and troubleshooting innovative and effective Mainframe Solutions.
Exposure with ALC to Cobol code walkthrough.
Ability to research problems and provide solutions.
REXX and/or CLIST experience to automate job processing.
