The Sr. Demand Planner is meant to coordinate activity across the functional and time spectrums to deliver mid/long term Demand Plan to ensure profitable business growth and in-stock levels for Core product. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration with key commercial partners to align upon demand review/consolidation plan and in season coordination. This individual contributor role is highly analytical and requires the ability to collaborate and communicate with a diverse group of team members.
What You'll Do Lead the Demand Plan for a given Sales Channel by making adjustments in alignment with commercial needs as we approach seasonal buy execution Drive the Open To Buy process, calling out risks and opportunities to the business Interpret changes in buying process into product investment – both increases and decreases to optimize balance of revenue with inventory in support of company goals Drive cross-functional collaboration with key partners to align upon final Open To Buy plan Place enhanced focus on New Product / Key Product initiatives; align and coordinate core / important carryover seasonal items with core planning and supply teams Lead the efforts of inventory and supply planning to proactively handle in-stock levels Propose seasonal and in season stocking strategies to commercial leads to balance margin / revenue generation with optimal working capital levels Coordinate actions upstream into supply chain to monitor, adjust and troubleshoot supply lines as well as optimize inventory Participate in consolidation needs for the regional demand plan Make significant contributions to the regional demand review Leverage regional IBP/S&OP to coordinate and inform key demand insights into cross-functional teams Work closely with Global Merchandise Financial Planning team to understand and shepherd seasonal plans into region-channel enriched plans Coordinate activity with regional merchandisers to ensure the priorities and focus of the region-channel is clearly captured in all Merchandise Financial Planning related tools and updates What You'll Bring to the Table 3 years planning Open To Buy / Demand; highly desirable to be within a multichannel setting particularly in the apparel/footwear business Demand Planning & Open To Buy experience is required Familiarization with Inventory and Service level planning Experience in Merchandising Financial Planning process and/or Integrated Business Planning Must have extensive experience and fluency in Excel tools and functionality Experience with Merchandise Financial Planning, Demand Planning systemic solutions; ideally with o9 Solutions Business level fluency in EnglishThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
