Job Title: System Administrator (NEI-7) Location: Bethesda, MD CyberData Technologies is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to provide critical IT operations support within a high-availability clinic environment. This role requires exceptional technical expertise, responsiveness, and an understanding of healthcare IT systems and compliance standards. Responsibilities: + Perform daily configuration and operation of mainframe, mini, or client/server-based systems. + Optimize system operation and resource utilization while conducting capacity analysis and planning. + Manage the clinic’s IT Infrastructure and IT Operations, including Production and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites. + Provide second-level problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution for clinic IT systems. + Deliver support for clinical application configurations running on IT systems. + Assist with deployment, configuration, and ongoing support for clinical IT systems. + Monitor clinic IT infrastructure environment, including Nutanix clusters, Windows, Linux-based systems, and clinical imaging devices. + Address IT-related issues promptly within specified SLA response times. + Provide onsite support during core hours and after-hours support for critical system issues impacting patient care or mission-critical activities. + Respond to after-hours critical calls and ensure 24x7 monitoring of critical systems. + Ensure adherence to NIH security standards and configurations for all clinic systems. + Apply necessary updates to systems in compliance with NIH timelines, FDA guidelines, and clinic SOPs. + Complete tasks for Security Assessment & Accreditation (SA&A), including report preparation to maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO). + Manage exemption waivers for systems unable to meet NIH standards or policies. + Document technical functions, support activities, and resolved support tickets accurately. + Maintain inventory of clinic systems in the Configuration Management System (CMS), ensuring 100% accuracy. + Move and maintain all SOPs and How-To guides in CMS. + Report the daily status of critical systems to Federal Leads by 8:00 AM. + Assure regular system backups and verify their accuracy. + Perform system maintenance outside core hours as needed, with appropriate authorization. + Conduct Continuity Plan testing and provide detailed findings. + Maintain system scripts for accuracy and functionality. + Maintain accurate vendor access logs for clinic systems. + Support clinicians, technicians, and vendors in system deployment and maintenance. + Facilitate vendor updates for FDA-approved systems per established guidelines. Qualifications: Experience: + At least five (5) years of experience in desktop support or IT operations, preferably in clinic/hospital environments. + Familiarity with clinical IT systems, compliance standards, and high-availability infrastructures. Skills: + Strong understanding of desktop systems, networking, and troubleshooting methodologies. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engagement with clinic staff and upper management. + Exceptional time management and multitasking capabilities. Technical Expertise: + Hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI, Windows Server, Linux systems, and clinical imaging devices. + Proficiency in IT infrastructure monitoring, backup processes, and configuration management. Certifications: + One or more of the following or equivalent experience: + ITIL Foundation, ITIL Practice Manager + CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, Healthcare IT Technician + HDI Desktop Support Manager, HDI Service Manager + Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (Windows 10/11) + Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer: Desktop Infrastructure
