A local company is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join the team in Wilmington, Delaware. This hybrid role requires on-site presence three days a week and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud services, experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, GitLab for CI/CD, and light Kubernetes experience using AKS. Proficiency in at least one scripting language is also essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. Work with Azure cloud services to deploy and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters using AKS. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery processes. Write and maintain scripts for automation and process improvement (Python, Bash, or other scripting languages). Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues to ensure optimal performance. Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, best practices, and technologies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services. Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab. Basic Kubernetes knowledge, particularly with AKS. Strong scripting skills in at least one language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.). Familiarity with containerization and Docker. Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
