Joining the team as a Sr. DevOps Engineer, Platform DevOps (Product Platforms) will provide you the opportunity to make a huge impact in a high growth company.  You will be responsible for building and supporting a team who is responsible for the build, design, & architecture of platforms consisting of industry leading, enterprise grade cloud technologies.  When you are successful you will significantly accelerate the ability of our entire team to deliver innovative products into our customers hands safely and securely at scale.  You will be supported through in-house training and certification on our Coupa University platform and through subscriptions with leading learning partners. Coupa operates an open and autonomous work culture, where employees are challenged and critical thinking is encouraged. This is core to our culture and we do everything we can to foster an entrepreneurial spirit within our team as we strive for personal and organizational excellence.What you will do:Own, build and run a suite of impactful platforms built on modern cloud technologies that provide a suite of functionality delivering APIs, integrations, security, messaging, streaming, identity, performance, reliability & containersDevelop and drive long-term strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities in partnership with the Product Management teamBuild a multi-region and multi-cloud platform that allows scalable, secure service delivery across hundreds of services on AWS & Azure clouds in a regulated environmentAct as a primary lead partnering to provide technical guidance, support, and direction for several platform engineering teamsWhat you will bring to Coupa:Has 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience using Go, Python, Java, Ruby or equivalentHas 2+ years of hands-on operating in an Infrastructure or Platform Engineering, System Administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role Has experience with data platforms (Elasticsearch, Kafka), queueing & background services (SQS, SNS, Resque), identity services (Keycloak, Aerobase, FreeIPA), integrations (API gateways, middleware), application security, or cloud performance optimizationHas experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, ECS)Has experience building & running modern full-stack cloud applications using public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) reliably and at scaleTakes full ownership of products and has a track record of sustainably delivering high quality features & managing technical debtHas effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated problems to all levels of the organization & customersHas a passion for excellence, is a natural problem solver, and a critical thinker. You should enjoy digging deep to understand issues and like solving hard problemsHas a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent It would also be great (but not essential) for you to have:Experience with modern infrastructure management systems (Chef, Ansible, Terraform)Expertise in building Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), or Internal Developer Portal (IDP) solutions#LI-Hybrid#LI-AA2
