Sr. Digital Product Manager

Thermo King is a global leader in transport temperature control systems for trucks, trailers, buses, rail cars, and shipboard containers. We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Downstream Product Manager to join our dynamic team.

Join Thermo King as a Senior Digital Product Manager!  The Sr. Digital Product Manager will manage the launch and post-launch phase of our products, ensuring their continued market success. This role involves collaboration with marketing, dealers, sales, engineering, and customer support teams to optimize product performance, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve business objectives.

This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our Minneapolis, MN location.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

Key Responsibilities:

Market Leadership: Grow sustainable market leadership for Thermo King as the preferred telematics provider for fleets.Product Performance Management: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including sales and customer feedback, to identify improvement opportunities.Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular industry, market, and competitor analyses to inform product strategy and identify customer needs.Marketing Strategy: Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to adjust strategies and promotional programs based on product performance and market conditions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between sales teams, dealers, customers, and customer support to ensure seamless communication and alignment.Pipeline Management: Lead the sustaining pipeline from idea capture to prioritization and backlog management.Product Growth Teams: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize product performance and go-to-market initiatives.Feedback Loop: Gather and analyze feedback from customers, dealers, and sales teams to refine go-to-market strategies and product improvements.Sales Enablement: Provide sales enablement and field support, including developing collateral for new product announcements and updates.Content Creation: Curate high-impact messaging and core product themes aligned with customer value. Develop content that resonates and drives high utilization with field teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a digital or technology-focused role.Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Experience with data analytics tools and techniques to measure product performance and user engagement.Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a strong attention to detail.Excellent organization skills and flexibility to handle a variety of time-sensitive tasks and projectsPassion for technology and a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.Knowledge of the transport refrigeration business and trucking industry preferred, but not required.

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $150,000 - $190,000

 

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
