Sr. Director, BioPharma Specialty Trade and Account Management Remote
Job Summary:
This position is crucial in driving the top line growth of Walgreens Specialty business. This role will also lead a high-performing team of account management. This role involves pursing existing and new partnerships and strategies that drive growth in prescription volumes and revenue, making it essential for this role to build strong relationships and networks that broaden access to limited-distribution drugs (LDDs) and non LDDs, to increase the profitability of the Specialty business. The role will guide the team in pitching innovative, integrated solutions to secure new clients and enhance relationships with key decision-makers. The Senior Director will lead the development and execution for sales strategies, forecasting outcomes, and aligning internal teams to meet ambitious sales targets and key performance indicators.
By prioritizing new customer partnerships and evaluating market opportunities, you will play a pivotal role in leading your team to drive revenue growth and establishing Walgreens as a leader in the specialty health market. The Senior Director will work closely with the Vice President, BioPharma Trade and Services Sales and will solely be focused on business development and identification of opportunities.

Job Responsibility:
Lead the development and execution of the overall specialty pharmacy new business strategy and tactical plans and work closely with the VP of Specialty Pharmacy Operations.Responsible for Business Development relating to specialty pharma, specialty pharmacy consultant communities, and small biotech companies to ensure inclusion in manufacturer RFPs and access to limited distribution drugs, CGT, rare/orphan medications.Will represent Walgreens specialty at industry conferences, media, and external high profile engagements.Drive connectivity between the pipeline and pharma manufactures to enhance service deliveryProactively pursue strategic partnership opportunities before the RFP process to enhance the growth of the specialty businessFunction as a senior advisor to the Chief BioPharma Officer and VP of Specialty Operations, synthesizing and communicating complex ideas effectively.Collaborates internally to ensure enterprise-wide alignment of specialty pipeline among specialty teamsWorks with Specialty Operations Team for creating solutions and to help implementation of rare disease and oncology trade strategies that improve access to limited distribution drugs.Works with RFP team and key stakeholders to successfully respond to manufacturer RFPsCreates effective responses and finalist presentations to contribute gaining access to specialty products;Monitors industry dynamics to update and successfully update strategies and Business Development focusAbout Walgreens
