Summary:
The Sr. Director of Contracts participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services. Helps evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations. Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions. Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids.
***please note: Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely***
Major Position Responsibilities Directs all activities in the organization's contracts administration functionOversees the preparation and administration of bids, proposals, negotiations, and contracts that follow company policies and legal requirementsDirects the contracts administration staff and guides compliance with complex contractual and regulatory requirementsDirects and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provides guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposalsHas deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulationsNegotiates complex or high-value contractsLeads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR &Senior Leadership
Basic Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience10-12 years’ experience in a relevant function
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant degree Experience within the defense industry Preferred professional procurement/contracting certifications at the state or national levels, such as certifications offered by NCMA, CFCM, CPCMGovernment contracts experience Working knowledge of munitions: associated platforms, strategic and tactical systems, and military munitions/platform interface requirementsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Pay Range (USD) $142,100.00 - $263,900.00 Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process. Additional Compensation - ICP Hired applicant will be eligible to participate in the Company’s Incentive Compensation Program.
