Sr. Director, Diagnostic Cardiology Lifecycle & Consumables (Clinical Accessories)
**Job Description Summary** This key leadership role will be responsible for maximizing Diagnostic Cardiology (DCAR) global revenue and margin while growing services and consumables adjacency throughout the products’ lifecycle. The person in this role will drive a true lifecycle approach, explore, and implement new business models aligned to drive recurring revenue across the DCAR portfolio and throughout the product lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, and secure customer lifetime value. They will develop segment-specific service/consumables business cases for lifecycle offerings that add value to our customers and contribute to profitable growth for DCAR and PCS. They will be accountable for ensuring that the “design for service/consumables” features are embedded into the DCAR product roadmaps and will drive franchise and portfolio mindset through lifecycle activation and growth activities in the regions, covering NPI launches, Point of Sale, and Aftermarket sales activities. This role will report directly to the Executive - PCS Lifecycle Activation & Growth and “dotted line” to General Manager – Diagnostic Cardiology, connecting the two organizations in an effective and efficient way, to optimize customer and business outcomes. **Job Description** **Responsibilities** + Accountable for DCAR Services and Consumables revenue and margin growth per operating plan, acting as a catalyst for lifecycle growth, helping to get mindshare, educating, and driving service & consumables adjacencies across the organization. + Spearhead the development and execution of the DCAR-specific services & consumables strategy, including service features (utilizing PCS Service Technology Platform), go-to-market, pricing, delivery strategy, and systems/operational support throughout the lifecycle of DCAR products and lifecycle offerings. + Serve as DCAR’s ultimate service & consumables owner on multi-functional program teams, including marketing, sales, operations, engineering, and regional services teams, while ensuring compliance with QMS and regulatory requirements. Act as a catalyst for Service & Consumables, helping to open doors, educate, and drive the service & consumables needs across the DCAR organization. + Ensure customer focus in product line development plans and value propositions by establishing relationships with customers and ensuring that “voice of customer,” particularly that of the Biomedical/Clinical Engineer, Healthcare systems’ Supply Chain, CNIO, Hospital IT, Cardiologists, and other service-related personas is reflected in DCAR NPIs. + Execute the DCAR franchise strategy for EOGS, coordinating closely with Global Product Management, Lead Program Integrators, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial Sales, and other key cross-functional teams. Drive alignment on EOL initiatives to achieve critical milestones, streamline the product retirement process, and effectively transition aged installed base (IB) products. + Work closely with the DCAR Service Segment Leader, Lead Service Integrators and Regional Service Leaders to ensure effective and efficient operational execution of all key service-related items, including DCAR FMIs, resolution of field & customer escalations, service readiness, NPI milestone signoffs, etc. + Key accountability for: + **Opportunity Management & Growth** : Drive DCAR Service & Consumables revenue, margin, and contract capture globally. Identify and implement opportunities to improve service & consumables sales, safety, delivery, and product uptime. + **Resource Planning:** Determine team resource allocation, prioritization, and distribution of work to meet customer and business needs. Anticipate constraints early, communicate transparently, and initiate appropriate countermeasures. + **Leadership:** Set and communicate the strategy and goals for DCAR Lifecycle. Provide coaching to DCAR Service Segment Leader, Lead Service Integrators, etc. Track and improve program outcomes and customer satisfaction through relevant impact metrics & KPIs. Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including PCS CEO, PCS Staff, and other senior stakeholders. + Partner with Lifecycle Directors from other PCS sub-segments and work closely with Director, Service Engineering and Director, Global PCS Product Management to build and leverage PCS service platform & cross-segment offerings. + Partner with PCS consumables core groups to build consumables cross-segment offerings. + Partner with the DCAR CTO & team to ensure design for Service & Consumables has the right focus and priority per agreed upon segment strategy. + Build relationships across the organization while driving the service engineering roadmap in close alignment with key stakeholders and PCS Services Strategy. Maintain clear and open communication, connecting internal and external stakeholders to focus on DCAR Services & consumables relevance, profitability, safety, and quality. **Qualifications/Requirements** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field + A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience within medical devices industry, 10+ years of experience in Services, Program Management, installed base management, and/or product technology platforms, 5+ years of experience in process improvement and program management + Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work with customers and frontline sales/service delivery teams + Knowledge of Lean basics + Demonstrated skills to navigate through digital transformation of product and process + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Team oriented – proven ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams + Demonstrated ability to work globally **Desired Characteristics** + Strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills to shape growth vision and Go to Market strategy + Demonstrated experience in bringing devices or OEM services to market + Clear thinker and decision maker with analytical skills + Driving service technology, commercial growth, and innovations is your comfort zone + Experienced LEAN practitioner + Deep Product Management/Marketing expertise, including market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product lifecycle management + Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas + Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers. + Experienced in healthcare digital workflows. + Background in driving IT/ software subscription services. \#Hybrid \#Remote \#LI-CH3 For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $168,000.00-$252,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
