Position Summary
Reporting into the Corporate Vice President of Finance of the company, this role will lead the enterprise-wide Financial Planning and Analysis function providing operational and strategic financial analysis to the executive team, Segment leadership and corporate functions. The successful candidate must be a strong leader with the ability to collaborate across businesses and the corporate organization to drive finance initiatives, be capable of executing tactical action plans, and be accountable for the results. As a high potential member of the team, the FP&A leader will have future opportunities to take on expanded leadership roles within the organization.
Candidate Responsibilities
The Senior Director, FP&A will be a strategic and results oriented finance leader. S/he will have strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to partner with a leadership team. Responsibilities will include:
Leading monthly and quarterly forecast activities, analyzing and reporting enterprise-wide financial results and expectations Preparing and delivering monthly financial/analytical reports of business performance to management Driving, assessing, preparing, and presenting financial analysis and management reporting to business unit management Assisting the CAO in tracking and driving targets and performance Driving annual and multi-year budgeting and strategic plans Developing key financial analysis to aid in business decisions, budgeting and forecasting, and cost structure analysis Leading key strategic processes including Strategic Planning, Budgeting, and Incentive Compensation processes, as well as any other key control procedures Leading Corporate G&A expense budget process with senior functional leaders, as well as developing projections for Stock-based compensation, interest expense and share count. Partnering with the global leadership team to develop strategic multi-year plans and implementing processes to prioritize resource decisions and track the top investments and initiatives necessary to exceed future state targets Preparing ad-hoc analyses and information for CAO/CFO, SEC Reporting, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development Preparing financial decks for CAO/CFO to key stakeholders including C-suite Executives and Board of Directors. Performing deep dive analysis requiring financial modeling to develop recommendations and impact the decision making of senior leadership Conducting analysis of (but not limited to) geography, FX, Operating Companies, price performance, customer profitability, risk and opportunity tracking and more Conducting SG&A spend analysis, working closely with functional teams Leading and/or participating in improving Finance organization processes Leading and supporting M&A acquisition or divestiture projects and activities Overseeing the Corporate financial planning and reporting tool (OneStream) and leading system changes/enhancementsTo be a good fit for this opportunity, you will also have/be:
A bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA/CPA preferred 10+ plus years of FP&A experience Demonstrated critical thinking ability and strong financial acumen Experience with international subsidiaries and business partners Experience with ERP systems and reporting software such as OneStream. Highly analytical, detail oriented with advanced financial modeling and reporting skills Experience with complex problem identification and solving using Lean / Six Sigma techniques Proven track record of process improvement The ability to balance a partnering approach with firm stance on ethics, compliance, GAAP, etc. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities in a high matrixed organization. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical financial information to non-financial people.
