Position Summary:

The Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for the overall development and management of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the business units they are assigned to.

 

Essential Functions:

Lead the preparation, and drive the development and enhancement of the budgeting, forecasting, liquidity and analysis processes. Build financial models for existing operations and new business lines and gather, report and provide analysis of operations, trends, and margin in order to improve financial results and operational efficiency. Drive detailed financial analysis and provide key financial information and analysis in support of executive management decision making and strategy. Direct and execute all business unit activities. Direct the preparation of the weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts and variance analysis of income, cash flow and capital expenditures including generating insights and recommendations. Drive continuous improvement of the finance functions. Partner with Business Unit (BU) Leadership team to identify financial trends, forecasts & risks.  Responsible for preparing Board materials and content, with occasional presentations to the Board as needed. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong financial analysis, reporting and planning skills and advanced excel skills Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting analysis Strong quantitative analysis and insight skills Ability to communicate and collaborate across all organization levels Hands-on leader with ability to proactively respond to requests while ensuring all deliverables are met on time Experience driving improvement or transformation

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance; MBA preferred 8+ years of experience primarily in finance, financial analysis or accounting
