Purpose of Role

This is a 7 month contract role to cover for leave of absence.

The Sr. Director, FP&A, EMEA will be a key member of our team by supporting our EMEA region business by providing visibility to the P&L, results, trends, & KPI’s in addition to owning and helping to shape strategic decisions with the function to achieve the most optimized business results within the region.

Your Impact Provide financial, analytical and decision support for the EMEA region, and corresponding business units. Improve decision making by creating linkage between investments and returns. Act as the lead Finance partner and subject matter expert for EMEA FP&A, and the whole region Partner with the MD, EMEA to develop and implement a strategic plan that is executable and delivers targeted financial results Provide financial leadership through budget/forecast management, investment analytics and strategic support. Provide simple concise story-telling for executive level business updates, including revenue projections, expense trends & risks and opportunities. Lead the financial planning/forecasting process for dedicated teams, as well as develop and lead accountability review with top line leadership. Lead in-depth financial, variance and trending analysis for key revenue and cost drivers, and metrics. Interpret results and articulate actionable recommendations to maximize profitability and ensure financial plans are achieved. Cross Functional Business Partnership - Drive visibility, alignment, and organizational processes to enable quick effective decision making for all levels of the business unit. Build and maintain strong relationships and connections between our FP&A team and the cross-functional business teams. Provide opportunities for development to direct report(s) in an effort to build a pipeline of future FP&A leaders at UA. Qualifications BA/BS required, MBA preferred. 12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, specifically supporting either wholesale or direct-to-consumer SAP/BPC/IBPf or Hyperion experience preferred Strong team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others outside of their direct-reporting lines. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas, results of financial analysis, and actionable recommendations. Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to achieve optimal goals and improve existing processes. Expertise in Excel, financial modeling, cash flow valuation, scenario/sensitivity analysis Workplace Location Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.  Return to Work Designation:  2 days per week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.  Relocation No relocation provided Our Commitment to Diversity
