Job Summary

Brinker is seeking an experienced leader to oversee and drive strategic activities within Supply Chain. The Sr. Director of Indirect Procurement will develop and execute robust category management strategies, provide thought and people leadership, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify innovative solutions that support key departmental initiatives (Marketing, IT, Accounting, Finance, HR, Operations, Restaurant Operations, Facilities, and Risk Management). They will ensure alignment between business strategy and sourcing execution within procurement and deliver measurable business impact by offering expertise across relevant categories and marketplace solutions/products, leading and supporting strategic supplier negotiations to secure optimal contractual terms, maximizing quality, service levels, delivery, cost, cash, and innovation, guiding strategic initiatives to ensure consistent availability of required products and services at the right time and place, and driving the team's success in innovating and implementing new products and services.

Your Key Job Functions

•    Develop and implement supply chain strategies for assigned product and service categories to achieve Brinker's business objectives.
•    Build and lead a high performing, engaged team through effective coaching, priority setting, performance management, and talent selection.
•    Establish and maintain long-term alliances with suppliers and internal stakeholders to leverage purchasing power and secure the best products, services, quality, and pricing in the industry.
•    Foster positive and productive relationships between the team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, and establish service level commitments to support program rollouts and new initiatives.
•    Oversee the creation, issuance, and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) using established department processes and technology.
•    Negotiate complex contracts and pricing agreements in a dynamic environment, leveraging sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and financial analysis.
•    Provide regular updates to leadership on key supplier initiatives, innovations, and project statuses.
•    Take ownership of challenging product, service, and stakeholder support issues, driving them to resolution with urgency in a constructive manner.
•    Uphold Brinker's Code of Business Conduct in all interactions with suppliers and distributors.

What You Bring to the Team

•    BA/BS or equivalent in skills and training
•    20+ years of supply chain experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred 
•    10-15+ years of direct leadership experience.
•    Experience with logistics, supply chain systems and process development
•    Proven ability to establish clear expectations and goals aligned with organizational priorities and building a strong team that can effectively execute them. 
•    Expertise in delegating to deliver results, encouraging performance through motivation, recognition and timely feedback, and facilitating subject matter knowledge transfer both inside and outside the department.
•    Proven ability to develop distinctive strategies to achieve competitive advantage
•    Proven ability to translate broad strategies into specific objectives, metrics, and action plans 
•    Established experience in aligning teams to support strategic priorities, foresee and take action to deal with problems and opportunities. 
•    Demonstrate an attitude of personal responsibility and accountability for implementing change initiatives by leveraging Culture of Accountability.
•    Established ability to utilize complex data, problem solving, and financial analysis to drive informed business decisions
