Your role and responsibilities

Working as a Sr. Director responsible for the Premier Industrial Products Portfolio, you will lead a product management team that defines marketing and strategy plans and multi-generational product development plans, including marketing communication, training, and sales initiatives for industry segment, and be a key leader of the marketing and sales team in Electrification Installation Products (ELIP) formally Thomas & Betts. Reporting to the SVP of Product Management, Marketing and Strategy for ELIP within the US & LATAM region, you will lead the Premier Industrial Products Segment and oversee all steps in the life cycle of products, systems or services, including development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability of identified ELIP product lines in US & LATAM. This role will work a hybrid-remote schedule (#LI-Hybrid) out of the Memphis, TN office.You will be mainly accountable for:- Developing, updating and driving the Premier Industrial Products Segment to include strategy based on customer VOC and market trends to meet divisional requirements and implements with country specific action plans and forward looking product plans. - Maximizing Gross Margin dollars for the identified ELIP product segment, optimizing the price/margin/share/sales equation- Defining key targets (e.g. volume, prices, portfolio mix) and ensures these are achieved for the segment(s). Identifying key market segments and market trends and ensures detailed business/sales plans are in place with regular follow up. - Understanding and managing the P&L for the Premier Industrial Products Segment; leads improvement thru margin growth and cost improvement activities.

Qualifications for the role

BS in Business, Electrical Engineering, Engineering or equivalent + MBA preferred10+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Sales in Products sold into Industrial related markets, with Electrical products related experience preferredDemonstrated leadership of product management teams, including leading cross functional teamsSound knowledge of and experience in Electrical & Industrial markets; experience in specific Thomas & Betts branded products preferredDemonstrated experience of managing marketing and sales strategiesKnowledge and experience of SFDC, SAP and strong Excel/PowerPoint skillsCurrent US license valid in US and/or US related permitCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
