**Position Overview:**
Serves as the primary executive responsible for security operations across the enterprise. Supports members of the executive leadership team in all operating units, system, and freestanding business units. Leads the enterprise-wide security operations mission to safeguard people, property, assets, and brand in the course of providing world-class quality and affordable care to its communities. Is a single source subject areas expert in all facets of the security realm. Protective Services subject matter expert who provides security solutions, alternatives, and recommendations across the full spectrum of the enterprise, to include risk-based staffing, investigative support, loss prevention, incident reporting/critical notifications, incident analysis, crime prevention, risk assessments, law enforcement liaison, special event support, and workplace violence prevention to mitigate reasonably foreseeable risks that have the potential to disrupt the continuity of operations across the enterprise.
**Job Description** :
**EDUCATION:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management of Information Systems, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or equivalent education/experience
**CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:**
+ ASIS Board Certified Protection Professional (CPP), IAHSS Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) or equivalent board certification **or** must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
**TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:**
+ 15 years of recent relevant experience.
+ Proven leadership of high-performing, enterprise-wide security teams.
+ Expertise in developing strategic and comprehensive physical security operations programs.
+ Skilled in managing operating unit and system budgets effectively.
+ Extensive experience fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders, law enforcement and government officials.
**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:**
+ Advanced expertise in formal/structured security risk assessment methodology, including the ability to mitigate risk by synchronizing the efforts and capabilities of people, process, and technology.
+ Industry leading knowledge of building security staffing models; developing post/patrol strategies; effectively applying security technologies; and coherently blending all program elements with tailored processes to effectively manage risk within a clinical environment.
+ Advanced business acumen with respect to the impact of security tools, technologies, and policies.
+ Broad industry knowledge of health care operations and their related security requirements.
+ Extensive knowledge and understanding of current and emerging physical security trends, risks, threats, countermeasures, vulnerabilities, and mitigations ranging across the spectrum from workplace violence to terrorism to loss prevention to behavioral challenges.
+ Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to give presentations to executive leadership teams and translate complex concepts into business and clinician relatable language.
+ Proven ability to interpret and effectively apply regulatory requirements and industry best practices in ways that are both compliant and tailored to the operational needs and culture of an organization. Proven ability to work in complex, challenging, and dynamic environments.

Pay Range is $83.00 to $132.80 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
