Responsibilities:- 

Characteristics of development performance which are candidates for emphasis and optimization include delivery timeliness and predictability relative to planned schedules; Release content completion both in terms of committed features delivered vs postponed/undelivered and test and quality status of delivered content;Roadmap prioritization effectiveness concerning level of use and business value of selected and prioritized projects compared to projects which have not been selected and prioritized as well as rate and degree of tactical adjustments to roadmap and projects; Degree of achievement of success criteria for projects relating to improvements of continuous metrics such as performance, compile time, etc.;

Initial objectives for the position include –

Data collection through interviews with stakeholders and analysis of documentation to identify areas with highest opportunities for improvement

Metric definition for measurement of various key areas of operational effectiveness focused most heavily on high opportunity areas

Initial project selection and execution – Identify 2 to 3 key focus areas for a particular part of the R&D organization and create refinement programs to relevant aspects of development to improve.

Candidate projects might include

- methodology improvements to improve progress and success rates on continuous metric projects in core platform SW of which compile changes for model throughput and compilation time are two of the most important continuous project areas

- assessment of feature delivery completion success on releases, diagnosis of underlying causes for non-completion and changes to planning and execution processes for improved completion and release timeliness

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $197,700 to $355,900 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
