Sr. Director, Specialty Pharmacy Commercialization and Development

Job Summary:
The Senior Director, Specialty Commercialization and Development is responsible for leading and executing strategies to grow Specialty Pharmacy across the enterprise, driving revenue and market expansion. This role will work closely with key stakeholders, including the Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy leadership team, to develop and implement growth initiatives that align with the organization’s overall objectives.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in healthcare, payer relationships, specialty pharmacy, and commercial growth, leveraging data-driven insights to achieve aggressive growth targets. You will become a trusted source for the pulse of the industry for the rest of WBA and must possess the ability to successfully lead complex cross-functional initiatives and teams. And, finally, you will be responsible for achieving key success objectives as we build out the organization and processes.
This role reports directly to the Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Development and will have direct contact with executive stakeholders (C-Suite) and a high degree of independence to design, implement, and drive forward large-scale organizational-change programs or initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:Lead commercial activities and related development activities to support launching new healthcare services and solutions into the marketLead the work of multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement strategic initiativesConduct strategic analyses, prepares business cases, and performs business intelligence research in order to identify and develop long term opportunities that provide competitive advantage within the marketsDrive business growth by developing organic and inorganic growth strategiesDevelop and drive strategic initiatives based on thought leadership of current trends and analysis relevant to the appropriate domain.Define a robust stakeholder approach to engage the business for an effective end-to-end strategic solution.Provide functional and industry expertise to support product and engineering functions develop solutions for consumers, payers, providers, and suppliersManage relationships with a matrix of leaders across internal stakeholder groups collaborating closely with the Business Units, Strategy, Business Services, Marketing, Legal, HR, InformationDevelop clearly defined objectives and plans and present findings and recommendations up through the C-Suite and Executive Committee.About Walgreens Boots Alliance
