The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Sr. Director, Store Enablement. In this role, you will be a strategic leader focused on efficiencies and executing with excellence in the context of how we support our service centers. This role will provide leadership and guidance related to the integration and onboarding of new stores, operating expense management, environmental health and safety (EHS), Help Desk, and overall technical store support.

How You'll Make a Difference

Develops and executes a comprehensive optimization strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Responsible for the New Store Integration team focused on effectively and efficiently onboarding new corporate-owned and franchise service center locations by providing the necessary materials, tools, and support. Also responsible for technical store support.

Responsible for operating expense management involving analysis of costs, identification of opportunities for optimization, and implementation of strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining operational efficiencies.

Ensures relevant environmental compliance as well as health and safety regulations, and implements best practices for EHS by assessing risk, developing protocols, and promoting a safe working environment for employees.

Offers leadership to the Emergency Command Center and the Help Desk team, which provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to stores across the U.S. and Canada. Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance internal customer satisfaction.

Keeps up to date with industry best practices and shares knowledge and insights with the organization.

Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time at its sole discretion.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field

Experience enabling retail operations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and drive results

Strong project management abilities with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals

Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in retail and optimization

Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools

Ability to adapt to change and navigate through organizational shifts

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
