Purpose:
The UPMC Supply Chain organization has the primary responsibility to manage all commercial aspects of UPMC’s non-payroll spend and deliver products and services that meet specifications. The Sr. Director, Strategic Sourcing is responsible for developing best-in-class sourcing and contracting strategies and practices to effectively reap maximum value for UPMC and associated entities. As a key member of the company’s supply chain leadership team, a key goal of the Sr. Director, Strategic Sourcing is to lower UPMC supply and operating expenses while increasing service levels to enhance operating effectiveness and financial performance.
