Key Responsibilities
This position supports the Vice President of Total Rewards in developing corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation.
Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Recognized as a highly influential leader in the organization.
Mainly interacts with executive level management, requiring excellent negotiation skills on critical rewards related matters influencing policymaking.
Detailed knowledge of company allows for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas.
Directs the development of presentations for executive management on rewards management, compliance, investment strategies, fiduciary requirements, service provider contract negotiations, provisions and service levels, etc.
Provides policy advice and counsel subordinate managers in the administration and communication of rewards programs to leaders, and employees.
Interacts with peer HR functions such as Staffing, Organizational and Leadership Development, to identify the need for new systemic programs and to coordinate their successful implementation.
Advises functional and business executives on the effective application of rewards policies and programs to sustain employee motivation, retention and on the risks of unintended consequences of inappropriate programs. May also manage outside consultants retained to develop tailored programs.
