ABOUT THE JOB:The Sr. Director Commercial Excellence leads a team of territory sales managers throughout the region in a matrixed structure in collaboration with the General Manager. This experienced sales leader should have solid self-awareness and the ability to match management styles to team needs. He or she will drive sales revenue across all target sectors while coaching and developing sales skills and sales practices.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Hire, train and coach commercial sales staff within assigned region. Manage a staff of Area Sales Managers who will communicate and drive KPI's to a staff of Territory Sales Managers. Develop and implement a regional growth strategy to drive Units on Rent, Lease Revenue Delivered and Value-Added Revenue Delivered. Review area market financial opportunity (size of mobile/business available, historical data, market forecasting and the estimated number of competitors and fleet size, etc) and make recommendations. Lead best practice sharing within the commercial function across the organization. Collaborate with other leaders across the organization to ensure cross-functional alignment. Manage weekly commercial staff meetings to communicate updates and drive performance. Drive the value-add sale of WillScot Essentials Service offerings and any future offerings. Maintain and grow relationships with major customers to ensure best value is achieved. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of sales management experience preferably within a leasing business, (e.g. construction materials, auto- leasing) logistics, transportation or other construction-related industry. BS in Business, Marketing or a related field Advanced degree (MBA) preferred. Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial, time-sensitive, collaborative environment Experience hiring and developing strong team members. Knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors and manufacturers.
