Sr. Director Environmental & Sustainability
Position Summary:
Th Sr. Director, Environmental & Sustainability will report to the VP, EHS and will lead all aspects of environmental and sustainability initiatives for Plug Power. This role will oversee the development of a comprehensive environmental management system that includes auditing, regulatory interface and standards development and execution.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Degree in Safety, Environmental or a related field from an accredited college or university10+ years of experience in EHS, including 5 years, leading, developing, and implementing companywide environmental programs and initiatives.Experience with air and water permitting.Ability to travel including international as needed, up to 15%Desired Skills:
Advanced degree or certifications in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene or Risk ManagementExperience and Knowledge of the NEPA processProven track record of leading global teams and driving organizational change.Demonstrated leadership experience, including successfully leading, coaching and mentoring othersRegulatory knowledge and understanding of industry practices needed to reach complianceSkilled in use of data analytics and toolsWell-developed problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and ability to operate at multiple organizational levelsExperience with RMP, IH, auditing, ISO, chemical management, Title V, ISO 14001Pay Rate:
