 The Senior Director, Human Resources - Americas serves as the primary HR business partner for North America and oversees Latin America HR. This role provides the leadership necessary to deliver a spectrum of strategic and tactical HR support and programs to employees and managers that are fully aligned with the brand's strategic, financial and talent goals. This spectrum of support includes performance management, succession planning, employee development, and ensuring policy and procedure compliance.



What You’ll Do:

Develop and drive North America HR people strategy and agenda that supports the business needs/priorities of respective business unit (e.g., assessment, coaching, strategizing, driving change, retention, staffing, and development) Coach and develop the North America HR team by providing clear objectives, performance feedback and coaching, and career development opportunities. Provide cross-functional HR leadership to promote collaboration with Business Units Be a strong HR business partner for retail leaders both for Benefit stand-alone boutiques and retail partners (Macy’s , Ulta and Sephora) and provide long-term retail staffing strategic vision Work on improving our sales commissions plan for field employees in order to increase attraction and retention of talents in a constant evolving business Provide North America Senior Management with analytical information and insights to facilitate holistic business decisions (e.g., turnover reports, exit interview data, compensation studies) using employee insights to guide business leaders actions that result in high levels of employee engagement and commitment Partner with North America HR team and Business Leaders on all aspects of employee-related issues including performance concerns, policies and procedures interpretation, misconduct investigations, terminations, employee communications etc. Lead the implementation of the North America performance management process including goal-setting, performance reviews and employee development planning. Provide guidance to leaders and managers on employment laws, compensation, training, benefits, and Company policies

Qualifications:

7+ years of progressively broader HR experience including generalist and management of people 3-5 years working with senior executive teams HR management experience in California desired HR management in a retail environment desired Experience in a multi-unit organization a plus with international exposure Broad knowledge of and experience with a wide array of HR programs and practices including employment law, compensation, performance management, leadership development, coaching, employee relations, change management and organizational development and effectiveness Bachelor's degree preferred

 

Schedule:

Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly This position is based out of our US corporate office in San Francisco, CA

The target salary range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
