Bringing Home the Dough

Salary range - $175,000 - $200,000 / year. 

 

The Senior Director of Corporate Development will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic initiatives, including M&A, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and other corporate development and strategic projects. This role will work closely with the SVP of M&A through all stages of transactions, from deal sourcing to integration. As a critical member of our corporate development team, you will support our strategic priority of pursuing disciplined, strategic M&A that enhances our portfolio and margin profile and broadens our geographic reach.

The role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial modeling and analytical skills, significant deal execution experience, and exceptional project management skills. 
 

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities Financial Analysis: Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and investment theses to support decision-making for potential transactions. Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic priorities. Due Diligence: Manage due diligence processes, including coordinating with the internal cross-functional team and external partners to evaluate potential transactions. Integration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses and accountability for the financial model. Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to inform corporate strategy and identify opportunities.  Strategic and Financial Planning: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to identify growth and savings opportunities and support the long-term financial planning process. Stakeholder Communication: Prepare presentations for the executive team and board of directors. Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes – Oxley, etc.). Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures. Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications Minimum 5 years' of M&A experience in investment banking, private equity or corporate development, with a track record of successful deal execution. Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Economics or Business highly preferred.
