**Sr. Director of Learning and Development (Remote or Hybrid)**
**Position Overview**

We have been on exciting transformation journey within our Talent organization and are looking for a passionate Sr. Director of Learning & Development to build enterprise capability related to manager development, career development, coaching, mentoring, high-potential development for individual contributors, and future-focused business skills development.
As the Sr. Director of Learning and Development, you will report to the VP of Talent and re-imagine and lead Autodesk’s learning function, including the teams accountable for program design and development of learning & development and leadership development initiatives. You will lead the reimagining of Mentoring and the continued evolution of Coaching, as well as tap into your knowledge and creativity to lead the development of highly effective programs for high-potential individual contributors. With a focus on innovation and supporting the strategic direction of the organization, you will create a learning environment that enhances collaboration, and leverages technology, and provides employees with continuous access to learning. You will be passionate about delivering effective and measurable learning strategies, tools and solutions that will drive business forward and enable our employees to thrive.
**Responsibilities**
+ Establish a strategic plans and objectives for the Learning & Development function, including leadership development, career development, coaching, mentoring, high-potential development for individual contributors, and future-focused business skills development
+ Build and lead a skilled and responsive team. Lead with a user-centered design perspective and communicate vision and strategy, creating clear focus and line of sight to critical projects and programs
+ Align business requirements to learning objectives and then to behavioral outcomes to build effective modern learning interactions that move the learner towards a future-state definition of behavior
+ Research, analyze and make recommendations for new technologies and solutions in the space of learning and development, high-potential development, coaching, and mentoring
+ Influence Senior Leaders by building of trust and inclusivity, strategic framing of issues leveraging increased use of data, and balancing excellent decision making with measured speed of implementation
+ Manage multiple vendor relationships to ensure quality program design and delivery
+ Continuously explore ways for Autodesk’s learning and development approach to be more ground-breaking while striving for efficiency, effectiveness, and agility
+ Build positive, collaborative partnerships with People Business Partners, People Consultants, COE colleagues, SMEs, peers, and stakeholders to develop, deploy, and scale global solutions
+ Act as a subject matter expert and consults on the design of talent development programs and solutions across the Culture, Diversity & Talent Development team
+ Cultivate and embed new mindsets and behaviors that integrate the Autodesk’s Culture Code and commitment to Diversity and Belonging into our learning programs
+ Build a deployment and communication processes to ensure consistent and clear engagement with all partners as well as program adoption
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 15 years of professional work experience in Learning, Manager Development, Organizational Development and/or Management Consulting
+ 5 years’ experience managing a team of learning professionals.
+ Prior experience with Coaching, Mentoring and high potential programs as well as building and implementing a leadership framework at a global organization
+ Proven expertise in curriculum design and development, with a focus on leadership development high potential talent programs
+ Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and the effectiveness of instructing methods such as classroom training, micro-learning, social learning, simulations, on-the-job application of skills, custom video, digital learning, and online learning tools
+ Strong ability to give meaningful and targeted feedback on deliverables. Ability to develop and coach team members as they develop high quality adult learning
+ Experience managing budgets and vendors
+ Excellent oral and written communications skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation. Strong platform facilitation skills with both ILT and VILT training experience
+ Ability to tailor approaches to nuances of global business with offices in multiple countries and experience with the translation and localization of learning content and experiences
+ Ability to prioritize multiple, large-scale initiatives simultaneously
+ Experience in building strong relationships in the Human Resources Function and across a global organization
+ Experience in applying the lens of equity, inclusion, and diversity across the employee lifecycle including processes, programs, and products
+ Expert problem-solving skills and collaboration skills
+ Strategic knowledge of next generation learning and development technology required
+ Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field is preferred
+ Certification in the Success Case learning evaluation method or other formal process to determine learning impact and ROI is preferred

**Salary transparency**
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $207,000 and $334,840. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
