ADP is hiring a Sr. Director of Sales Messaging
The primary function of this role is to support and grow the sales messaging function to advance with modern seller strategies such as Data, Automation and Generative AI. In this role, you will lead a team of Messaging Strategists and Developers to ensure sales has a voice in the message being used to personalize their engagement with buyers. You will be responsible for supporting various Business Unit segments and products while coordinating with the various stakeholders in Service, Sales, Operations and Marketing as a Shared Service Operation.
Specific Responsibilities:
Ensure there is a broad, standardized message across all sales and business units Create Value Messaging foundation to support all sales messaging asset creation Build subset messaging by Product, Persona and Segment across all BU’s and align overall value prop and insights to differentiators Provide Standardized Buyer Engagement Best Practices through messaging soft skills, methodology, Presentation Decks (EO's), Messaging Assets (Buyer Engagement Card) and Email outreach Build out a Generative Value Messaging Strategy to support our Modern Seller initiatives that will drive the quality and personalization of messaging provided through ADP GenAI platforms and technology Create a database of messaging to support the Zone and all GenAI functionality Work with prompt builders to train GenAI how to mimic best in class sales messaging following our Corporate Visions methodology Inspect and audit all GenAI messaging to ensure proper personalization and manage seller feedback on GenAI messaging Work with Communications team to lead sales messaging protocol on market alerts or triggers Curate internal and external insights/trends to support sales such as ADP Research, Vertical and CI Insights and 3rd party research and incorporate into the Modern Seller flow of work Leverage conversation intelligence tools like Gong to identify messaging opportunities for sellers based on buyer interaction Identify and build reporting to track the impact of messaging through email, content, conversation, account planning, proposals and opportunities. Create reports and dashboards showing trends and gaps among referenceability of our client base Work with Sales and Operations to educate and train sales on reference request process, best practices and benefits to them Drive cross functional messaging through the sales tech stack Create a consistent feedback loop with sales and sales leadership on messaging and opportunities to enhance the sales processIn this role, will work directly with BU Sales and Sales Leadership to align the ADP messaging strategy to their strategic objectives. This includes leading with insights, ensuring strong differentiators to our products, delivering engaging talk tracks and providing value messaging wherever sales works. There will also be a strong focus on leveraging GenAI to deliver personalized and insightful messaging to sales and their buyer.
EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE:
A college degree is nice to have but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other forms of acceptable experience include:
7+ years in Sales or Sales Operations Experience in Messaging, Methodology Best Practices and Sales Process Techniques Experience with SFDC, Gong, Sales Engagement Platforms, Seismic and Zoom Info Proven track record of driving success in with large scale operations in a matrix environment Track record of excellent communication, project management, planning and time management skills Collaborative approach to workBase salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience.
