Sr. E-commerce Specialist

The E-commerce Sr Specialist is responsible for the ideation, creation and execution of merchandising and personalization campaigns to deliver on sales goals for pre-cruise onboard revenue categories. The incumbent in this role leverages web analytics, research, and behavioral data to bring new ideas and recommendations on how to achieve and optimize booked guest KPI's.

Job Functions:

Ideates, creates and executes personalization and promotional campaigns including A/B tests, dynamic banners, promotion setup and guest segments to deliver on booked guest team goals for onboard revenue categories and communications. Creates and executes merchandising initiatives in Hybris SAP using web analytics and behavioral data to inform product creation and updates, product ranking and sorting, web banners and targeting rules. Partners with the creative department to supply e-commerce briefs. Oversees the creation of marketing materials on the Carnival.com website. Produces and presents reports for internal and external audiences that leverage web analytics, behavioral data, and campaign performance. These reports monitor campaign effectiveness, performance against booked guest KPI's and offer recommendations for enhancements and improvement in booked guest marketing and communications. Oversees complex projects and initiatives for multiple departments including Guest Commerce, Guest Communications, Casino Marketing, and Brand Marketing. Assists and mentors Specialists as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in E-commerce, Marketing or a related field required Work Experience:  5+ years of mobile commerce experience in an E-commerce role working in a corporate environment with a large Business-to-Consumer (B2C) website and a diverse product catalogue required.  Travel/Hospitality industry experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Advanced working knowledge and usage of E-commerce CMS systems (Hybris preferred), web analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and A/B Testing platforms (Optimizely) Intermediate knowledge and understanding and usage of data management platforms and behavioral tracking platforms (i.e., SAS Discover) Excellent technical, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, analytical and people skills Keen critical thinking, adaptability, attention to detail, and creativity abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A collaborative, team-oriented focus with the ability to successfully operate within cross-function teams Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite Products specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. 

Travel: No travel.

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

The range for this role’s salary $60,600-$92,000.  Offers to the selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
