JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Sr Electrical Coordinator/Super at WDF Inc., reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Review, interpret & accurately evaluate scope of work in the project documents. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports Evaluate schedule and determine when materials should be procured and installed Evaluate changes and subcontractor change order estimates relating to mechanical, plumbing and fire suppression mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information Enters RFIs into Procore (or other project management system that may be utilized) and tracks progress Research and analyze specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications Obtains or maintains a working knowledge of the mechanical, plumbing & fire suppression codes, life safety codes & local requirements Conducts daily job walks to ensure the accuracy and quality of the MEP components. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew Relies on instructions & pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Works under general supervision Develops & nurtures subcontractor/vendor relationshipsREQUIREMENTS:
10 or more years of construction management experience in MEP related field. (Mechanical, Electrical, MEPFP Superintendent experience) Highschool diploma or GED Proven jobsite knowledge & performance Excellent knowledge of construction, craft activities, cost control schedules & safety Ability to work independently while working in a strong team environment Ability to prioritize work to accommodate deadlines with minimum supervision Proficiency and working experience in Microsoft Office Platform Excellent verbal & written communication skills Must be dependable, consistent, diligent, and thorough Intermediate skill level with Procore or similar software Commissioning and Life Safety experience is preferred but not required Working knowledge of 3D modeling is preferred but not requiredThe salary range for this position is between $250,000 and $280,000 depending on experience
