Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer for a large oil and gas client located in downtown Houston. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting field related problems (Ex. Variable frequency faults, faults on the Schweitzer relays, etc.) They will also communicate with project management teams and local field operators, and will be responsible for sourcing electrical equipment. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. This person will: Act as subject matter expert (SME) for industrial electrical equipment, Develop electrical engineering project scope, Review third party electrical engineering designs, Provide technical support to operations, Develop and maintain electrical-related corporate initiatives, Provide guidance on electrical equipment maintenance, remotely and on-site, Evaluate and recommend new equipment and services providers. etc.
