Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized recruiting firm, is assisting our global manufacturing client in finding a Senior Electrical Engineer near Humboldt, TN. This role is responsible for providing design, development, and testing of electrical power distribution products.

Responsibilities: Perform technical analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and service on electrical products. Prepare specifications and related documents per requirements. Review and analyze engineering data, documents, and reports. Consult with other engineering groups to ensure suitability of engineering criteria. Learn and apply basic numerical tolerance calculations and stack-up analysis. Work from instructions, drawings, proposals, and specifications. Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions. Allocate time to customer-focused activities, product care, and operational troubleshooting. Assist in preparing specifications, selecting materials, drafting proposals, and preparing licensing and safety documents. Develop 2-D and 3-D models using advanced CAD software (AutoCAD and CREO Parametric). Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical engineering 3+ years of experience designing and testing electromechanical products or transformer components. Experience with Pro-E or any 3D CAD modeling software. Experience with Windchill data management or any PLM software. Our client is unable to provide current or future sponsorship for this role.
