Our client, a leader in the Oil and Gas Industry, is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer - Facilities Projects to join their team. As a Sr. Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting various facility projects. The ideal candidate will have strong planning skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Sr. Electrical Engineer - Facilities Projects
**Location: Edmonton, AB (Hybrid)**
**What's the Job?**
+ Own and manage the relationship and contracts with Engineering services providers.
+ Lead the design review process with internal and external partners ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company specifications.
+ Provide planning and scheduling for design and procurement phases of the project.
+ Manage engineering firms to incorporate red-line markups into as-built drawings for all projects.
+ Support the development of project scope, schedule, capital cost estimates, and execution planning.
**What's Needed?**
+ 7+ years of progressive experience in Engineering system design and commissioning activities within the Oil and Gas Industry.
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
+ Professional Engineer designation with APEGA, or eligibility to register.
+ Proven planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
+ Effective and professional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
