Our locations are Palo Alto, CA US, New York City, NY US, Kohler, WI US, Seoul, Korea, and Tel Aviv, Israel. **In your role as Senior Electrical/Electronic** **s** **Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will:** + Work directly with the Head of Hardware, hardware engineering team, and product teams. + Design new products and platforms that scale with Kohler Ventures’business growth. + Buildaforward-looking vision and lead effortsto understand anddefinerequirementin collaborationwith hardware/software teams. + Coordinate with product development teams to improve current models and build newones. + Champion quality in electrical/electronic design, processes, and culture. **Skills/Requirements** **Qualifications** + 15+ years of professional experience in electronics/electrical hardware development. + Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, or a related technical discipline from a reputed academic institution. - Strong foundational knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering principles. + Ability to architect, revise, and improve electronic device platforms,includingprocessors, microcontrollers, wired/wireless communication, batteries, sensors,andpower management circuits. + Hands-on experience developing electronics for various consumer and IT devices. + Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change. + Strong collaboration skills across teams, geographies, and functions. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree in a relevant technical field. + Experience in imaging devices such as smartphones, digital cameras, and CCTV with opto-electronic knowledge. + Expertise in areas such as: - System design and block diagram creation. - Sourcing and verifying components and vendors. - Power and signal integrity analysis. - Analog and digital circuit design and simulation. - PCB layout design and schematic reviews. - Embedded microprocessor systems, digital sensors, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth-based sensors. - Prototyping, feasibility analysis, and testing. - Leads PCBA batch fabrication and inspection - Compliance with UL/IEC requirements for EMC and ESD. + Professional development experience with various sensor technologies (e.g., ToF, thermopile, gas sensors). + Entrepreneurial experience in a high-growth, technology-focused company or startup. + Familiarity with documentation requirements for regulatory and quality standards. + Open-mindedness and experience collaborating with international and cross-functional teams. **Why Choose Kohler?** We empower each associate to #BecomeMoreAtKohler with a competitive total rewards package to support your health and wellbeing, access to career growth and development opportunities, a diverse and inclusive workplace, and a strong culture of innovation.
