Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description
The Sr. Employee Experience Consultant provides a range of People Solutions Employee Experience services to a client group(s) across the East region. Services will span employee relations, performance management, wellness, local initiatives, inclusion, diversity and equity, business continuity, affirmative action and unemployment claims. This position handles the onboarding of all new hires in the region ensuring a quality onboarding. Responsible for reporting, data management and project management support of employee experience initiatives for the region or enterprise and works collaboratively with leadership. Backs up the Employee Experience Manager position for employee relations, accommodations, performance management, etc. Reports to Sr. Manager, Employee Experience as a fully proficient and skilled individual contributor.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Employee and Labor Relations:
Provides Employee Relations and Performance consultation, advice and support for a designated business unit and/or market. This includes all performance management to include informal coaching, corrective actions, return to work, leaves, etc. Handles unemployment claims, ADA compliance and accommodations, supports legal depositions, hearings and trials, EEOC/DOL/NLRB or other audit responses and investigations.
Champions of Company Culture and Employee Experience/Engagement:
Lead the onboarding for new hires for all regional employees across multiple markets ensuring timelines are met, adherence to compliance requirements and quality experience. This includes candidate tracking, communications, I-9s, badging/IT needs. May serve as the Onboarding Ambassador for your market.
Lead and/or execute regional engagement initiatives and provide project management support to enhance the employee experience. Identify employee lifecycle enhancements and create employee experience communications.
Provides a Cox presence in the community, participation in local volunteer events, local nonprofits, and community programs.
Inclusion, Diversity and Equity:
Promote diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, tools and resources.
AAP ownership for the region. May also create quality Affirmative Action plans for respective market.
Field translation of business into local execution/local community:
Contributes to and supports the execution of Cox's business strategy within field markets.
May partner with the local Market VP to support the implementation of events and initiatives to promote employee morale and wellness.
Provide input into the employee experience plans capturing unique needs for market/client group.
Employee Wellbeing/Business Continuity:
Provides Business Continuity Support for the region and employees.
Contribute to the CCI Wellness strategy through support of enterprise and local wellness deliverables, the creation of regional, tailored communication methods for employees.
Lead the Know Your Numbers health screening events across the region, Regional Wellness Warrior.
Data Management/Reporting:
Responsible for reporting and data management support of employee experience initiatives for the region or enterprise.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field in lieu of a degree
Prior experience using HRIS systems (Work Day), managing data and using it to tell a story
Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Managing Affirmative Action plans
Strong consultative, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Demonstrated direct client support and employee relations experience
Proactive approach to problem solving and solutions oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree + 2 years of experience preferred in a related discipline
Experience in telecommunications industry.
PHR/SPHR certification.
