TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Engineer, Race Strategy to join the department.
Key Responsibilities
A successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience working in professional motorsports, with a strong understanding of race strategy fundamentals.Experience using predictive modeling and data analytics to inform race strategy decisions.Computer Skills
Proficiency in Rust, Python, C++, MATLAB, or similar programming languages.Experience with probabilistic programming and machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, PyMC, TensorFlow, or equivalent.Preferred Experience
Familiarity with AI/ML modeling techniques and their applications in motorsports.Understanding of race car vehicle dynamics and tire modeling.Experience developing or utilizing strategy tools in NASCAR.Travel Requirements:
