New Product Development Engineer (Sourced Product Team)

Responsibilities:

In sourced product group to work with OEM/ODM Suppliers to run new product development and product transfer:

Working with global marketing team identify new product requirement and do the feasibility analysis from mechanical design side. Lead new Product mechanical design, and work with vendor to implement the design.Prototype making and qualify;Create product and part 2D/3D drawings which need meet standards. And put the drawings in system for controlling;Do DFM (Design for Manufacturing) review with vendors for each designed part to make sure the design is suitable for production;Make the sample build plan, and ensure parts quality, quantity and also deliver schedule can meet the target date;Coordinate the sample build products testing, and do issue fixing during the testing;For ODM product, need check vendor’s design to guaranty the design can meet the requirement.Communication through each function group to make sure all information moves accurately and timely.Other necessary work assigned by team leader.

Position Requirements:

Engineering bachelor’s degree with major in Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent;  5 + years engineering background working experience on new product design; CAD skill (such as Pro/E, CATIA, Solidworks); Well understand GD&T and dimension stack up; Written and verbal English skills; Good communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills; Good problem-solving skills; Self-motivated, goal-orientated, team-worker, open-minded;
