Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Engineer in New Brighton, Minnesota. This role is within the tech and digital industry, and the chosen candidate will be working on creating immersive digital experiences for premier vacation brands. The Sr. Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the data pipeline for our Generative AI platform, integrating diverse data sources, and developing optimized data processing workflows. Responsibilities: • Design and implement an end-to-end multi-stage data pipeline for Large Language Models (LLMs), including Supervised Fine Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) data processes. • Integrate various data sources and domains to support the Generative AI platform. • Develop optimized data processing workflows for text and non-text data chunking, indexing, ingestion, and vectorization. • Benchmark and implement various vector stores, embedding techniques, and retrieval methods. • Establish a flexible pipeline that supports multiple embedding algorithms, vector stores, and search types. • Maintain auto-tagging systems and data preparation processes for LLMs. • Create tools for text and image data crawling, cleaning, and refinement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and relevance for AI/ML models. • Work with data lake house architectures to optimize data storage and processing. • Integrate and optimize workflows using Snowflake and various vector store technologies. Requirements • Must possess excellent communication skills for effective interaction with teams and clients • Experience in customer service, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction • Proven training skills, with the ability to educate team members on new processes and methodologies • Demonstrable expertise in maintaining high-quality standards in all projects and tasks • Knowledge of database management and design principles • Experience in merchandising, with an understanding of market trends and customer preferences • Proven ability to ensure security in all business operations, both digital and physical • Familiarity with payroll functions and related financial processes • Proficient in engineering principles and techniques, preferably with a focus on construction and integration • Experience in metric reporting and optimization for performance improvement • Proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages • Familiarity with cloud technologies and best practices for storage and security • Experience in construction and integration projects, demonstrating strong collaboration skills • Ability to handle queries efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely resolutions • Knowledge of best practices in the industry and the ability to implement them in the workplace • Proficiency in applying methodologies and frameworks for project management and product development • Strong collaboration skills, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
